Did that get your attention? Ready to call me an atheist? Then where were YOU on the evening of July 4th? Were you one of the 1000s that turned out to celebrate country at 9:30am AND one of few that were on hand for the celebration of GOD at the school. At this time in our nation when all are screaming for prayer and that GOD is being taken away from our public gatherings, where were YOU when you had a chance to show your support for GOD. Yadkin County is hypocritical and I am embarrassed by us all.

I was right there at the celebration Songbird celebrating our country and the freedoms we enjoy because so many men and women have been and are willing to fight for it! I watched the parade, was at the school and watched the fireworks that night!! I am 1000% against taking GOD out of anything, with all the terrible stuff going on in this country, now is the time we need GOD the most! He is the only hope this world has ever had and ever will have!

If God is the only hope this world has, then we are doomed. Look what God has done to the world so far. Why would a God let one religion kill other religions because of their faith in God? Obama was called a god(even Oprah called him the chosen one) by many liberals and look how that has worked out. God, religion and faith belong in the same category as the global warming hoax.

GOD has not done anything to doom this world! He is the only reason it is still standing. MAN has done what has been done, GOD allows it to happen so hopefully we can see how very much we need HIM. Obama is not a chosen one for anybody & Oprah has no bearing on anything, her opinion only. GOD, RELIGION & FAITH ARE THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TO DEPEND ON AND THE ONLY THING THAT WILL NEVER LET US DOWN.

When i ask where were you for the GOD celebration, i am talking about the 6:00pm community prayer meeting that was held in the auditorium of the school. I am NOT referring to the lunch time music show. There was a special community sermon held with Quinton Mills as speaker. Why did the community not participate?

That's funny. opra ordained hussain as the one. He is no child of Adam. That may add the God reverb to his voice. It's all falsehoods.
I was allso there with my kid. She knows it wasn't just a party. She knows the definition of July 4th. She knows who Gods children are. She WILL grow up and be a person. Not a sheep ready for slotted. Informed kids are the futcher. Educated, Christion, and decisive.

Mr. Mills is an outstanding witness but we didn't attend for the simple reason we were hoping for a fresh face this year. The first year we went they had Dennis Swanberg, the Christian comedian as speaker and we loved every minute he was on stage as well as the Biker Ministry founder. This type of variety is what gets people interested in who delivering the message. We were later informed the local Pastors select the speaker each year, so we intend to contact some of them and ask them to expand their list of possibilities for next year.
On the other hand, it seems the parade was the best ever but when we followed the masses to the school the number of food vendors seemed to be about half of what had been there in previous years so we walked back across the highway to the Subway.

A fresh face? Has Quinton Mills been a speaker at this service before?
Or, was it that he is not a comedian?

Yes, Mr. Mills was the speaker several years ago.

Yoda, I don't know what his fathers name is, but since his father was African I highly doubt it was Adam. My fathers name is not Adam either. Are you saying there is a problem with someone who's father is not named Adam. What is your fathers name? By the way get a dictionary, you spell like a first grader.

Commonsense<--- I am saying he is not a child of Adam. As in Adam & Eve. His mother mixed with peaple who where on this planet before Adam & Eve where created. God created all the races. God came to earth and died and resurrected for his children. Not all the people. Look it up its called "Christian Identity". Dont give me that nonsense about discrimination. I dont wish anyone ill will. I wish everyone to live a long life. I fallow the rules set out by God.
Yoda, his mother mixed with people who were on this planet before Adam & Eve were created?? What the crap does that mean?

The nation has already taken God out of the country. Is that not good enough for ya birdy? Dang!

Just because I wasn't at East Bend doesn't mean I wasn't celebrating God and country. The very place I was at also had music and the music was more praise and worship than anything else. Just because it didn't have that title as the theme doesn't mean we were leaving God out of it.

Didn't you feel HIS presence at the parade? There were Church floats that surely showed God was there. Even the soldiers with the US flag showed Gods presence. EB is a lot of things BUT they still honor God. People were out all day with their families celebrating God and Country. Don't get your panties in a wad, just relax and enjoy things. Everybody is not going to do what YOU want them to when YOU want them to but we still love Jesus..........
